I also love information books, they are pretty much Star Wars text books like the one you mentioned. Star Wars Text books that I recommend from experience are 'The Ultimate Visual Guide', 'The Essential Atlas' and 'The Essential Guide to WARFARE'.Ben Hhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01984635806923527538noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2972476768782010154.post-12305939471661608302015-12-22T23:12:35.651-06:002015-12-22T23:12:35.651-06:00Wow, that sounds cool! I haven't played many Star Wars video games but I've heard that 'Battlefront' is really good. I've seen all 6 seasons of 'The Clone Wars'. The show gets really dark and interesting in the later seasons. I also like 'Rebels' a lot but 'The Clone Wars' holds a special place in my heart.Ben Hhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01984635806923527538noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2972476768782010154.post-14640512918583342542015-12-22T17:31:10.243-06:002015-12-22T17:31:10.243-06:00Oh and i finished 'Star Wars Racer' on Nin...Oh and i finished 'Star Wars Racer' on Nintendo 64 and 'Star Wars racer revenge' on Ps2. I also finished 'The force unleashed' and 'the force unleashed 2' on Ps3. I've also enjoyed playing with the official Pinball tables of Star Wars through 'Zen Pinball 2' on Ps4. You and I like Star Wars for very much...Hi Steve!

You and I like Star Wars for very much the same reasons. I love Yoda and Darth Maul as well. The mixed genre keeps everything interesting. Star Wars is special to me because I find it very relatable to real life. Putting it very basically, I see that the Jedi are kind of like the Shoalin monks of ancient times who used their martial skills for spiritual development and to serve and protect society, whilst the Sith are like the combat sport cage fighter who is learning about martial skills for self gain, their perception of self betterment and prosperity by obtaining power. The Jedi and the Sith are two extremes at different ends of the spectrum. Kind of like how their are traditional Martial Artists who, like Jedi, emphasise loyalty to others over themselves in their practice and how there are UFC fighters who, like the Sith, emphasise loyalty to themselves over others in their practice. Both sides are not right and they are not wrong. I believe that balance in the force can only be found somewere in between both extremes.

Have you ever seen anything Star Wars that's not the movies such as comic books, TV shows like 'The Clone Wars' or 'Rebels'?

Thank you for sharing your perspective my friend. This could be a good topic to discuss on Skype whenever our next meeting may beBen Hhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01984635806923527538noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2972476768782010154.post-5807169286940384832015-12-20T22:04:35.452-06:002015-12-20T22:04:35.452-06:00Nice post! What i like a lot about Star Wars is everything related to the 'Force', the mystic that surrounds it and the characters involved around it may it be Jedi(s) or Sith Lords. I also like the futuristic approach, the galactic trips etc... My favorite Jedi is the master itself Yoda and my favorite Sith is Darth Maul. I really like the Jedi order and their teachings, i also see a lot of similarities with True Martial Arts, true masters and their purpose. Star Wars is special to me because it's unique, it is a pioneer of it's genre and i like the mix of genre included in it.Steve Caissyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18205605392347205255noreply@blogger.com
