This video shows a BJJ fight on the streets that goes wrong when a knife is pulled out.
Not for the faint of heart, however it doesn't show any violent images of the knife attack.

And the guy just videotape this. He did not even try to help. See how the UFC has dumb people down? If I say that they will say that I am crazy.
ReplyDeleteWhy would you ever blame the UFC for this? That guy is a sociopath with no concern at all for the consequences of his actions. This doesn't have to do with t.v. This is way deeper than that
ReplyDeleteEven though it's true what you say, the reason why I blamed, the UFC, is because of the same reason the blogger said:
Delete" Because of the rise of the UFC, people have been trained to ignore the most important ingredient of winning a ground fight. The UFC has a lot of rules and people follow those rules, even subconsciously. If a man rises up on you in a fight (not a contest, a fight), then grab his testicles and PUSH! If you’re on the bottom, worry less about reversing position than controlling his posture and getting a thumb in an eye or cheek. He will move off of you if you do. When he was in half guard on the bottom, I bet that if he had taken a big chunk of that guy’s neck off with his teeth that the fight would have gone differently. Instead he got stabbed repeatedly"
But also because it seems like it started as a grappling "match" that went wrong. And it seems like they got the model of fighting in the ground out of MMA.
I would blame the UFC because they have been the primary force in America in promoting for people to fight on the ground and promote excessive violence. I would blame Strikeforce, I would blame Pride, but I would not blame Tae Kwon Do, Boxing, Muay Thai Boxing, the NBA, or NFL. What happened in this fight is exactly what UFC promotes, excessive violence beyond what it necessary to express yourself as an athlete. I blame the Gracies, the blame Dana White, I blame Blow Job Ju-jitsu, and the UFC. But the people are stupid, can we blame Rap Music for the murders on the streets? Can we blame Call of Duty for the school shootings? Can we blame the movie Scareface for inspiring people to kill? Can we blame Robin Williams for inspiring people to commit suicide? In reality we must blame ourselves for our own irresponsibility but people will follow what they see, if people see excessive violence being encouraged in mass media as something cool and hip, then that is what they will follow. Can we blame McDonalds for contributing towards the obesity epidemic in America, sure we can.
ReplyDeleteyeah I agree.
