Ok, I came across this video on youtube, and at first I thought it was a joke of some sort... You know, cartoons and stuff... But as the time went by, some things really made sense.
It is not about human history as we were taught, it is about human consciousness and enlightenment.
I definitely would like to discuss about it, so please watch it when you find time. Of course, take everything with a grain of salt but you'll find very interesting ideas in this video. I'd love hear your feedback and let's make a discussion about this because I believe it is a very important subject to talk about...

I tried watching it. But man... that's a pretty convoluted attempt to tie together a bunch of stuff Western moderns just don't understand, and then explain it away with aliens. I couldn't get past more than about the first fifteen minutes. No offence or anything intended, but that's my honest feedback. There is definitely a lot more to human history than what they teach at the universities though, I'm with you on that
ReplyDeleteyeah, it was difficult for me too, but I never looked at it as a documentary. It's more of a metaphor how human consciousness has evolved or actually degraded over time. I don't think that the people who made this expected for us to take it literally...
DeleteI tried again... and it turns out that what I estimated at 15 minutes before was only the first five minutes. This time, I made it through thirty minutes, and gave up. If there is a metaphor for the evolution of human consciousness in there, I don't know. However, I do agree with the idea that there was a natural event which occurred, and was highly traumatic, to turn some people against nature... as described of 'The Martians'... leading them toward a project (continuing today) to control nature
DeleteI've watched it, i thought it was interesting from a science fiction standpoint. I think we can all extrapolate and create stories and make theories about everything, but at the end of the day, which one of those is plausible? I think it could make a great scenario for a science fiction movie, i thought it was interesting even if i don't believe in much of what was presented here.
ReplyDeleteYou shouldn't believe. I think it is a creative way to describe what's wrong with this world
DeleteBut to put it on the martian is kinda hypocrite. As if it wasn't our fault, it seems easier to point it on something else than just us humans.
