We Shall Overcome

I feel like having fun by creating some poetry that match the title of my new track entitled; We Shall Overcome

We shall overcome, you, me, everybody, life, we shall overcome

The madness that surrounds us, the pain that sings around us

We shall understand why we here, we shall stand against those who promote fear

We shall walk together united, tall and proud, ego in balance and shout

Shout against torture, against slavery, racism, discrimination and hunger

Fight against the injustices that lie all around us like an ocean of fire

We shall froze those desires of hatred and bring equilibrium

Because we’re all connected, it is together that it has to happen

We cannot do this alone; great achievement needs teamwork, efforts and fun

Through those tears we walked and continue on walking

We didn’t suffer in vain, my friend, we shall overcome
