    1. Thanks. I'm hoping the dance background might help me to pick up on the movements accurately. I'm sure it will still take a lot of practice, but practicing is what it's really all about, I think.

    1. Thanks. I'm already enjoying the first couple of videos. I'm hoping that this training goes really well, and that I can eventually plan a trip to Chicago to meet everybody. I'd like to meet everyone, and it'd be a good way to test what I've learned.

    2. It's really nice to have women involved in FMK, it balances out the yang with the yin. We are excited to have you on board. Sidai Kong actually commutes 1.5 hours from Indiana to the kwoon every month or so for training and he trains 3 hours each time to get the most out of it. I went to Purdue myself and lived in West Lafayette for 4 years, I really enjoyed living in Indiana. When the time is right, it will be great for you to visit here to meet everyone and take your training to the next level.

    3. I think I'm about 3 hours away. I think it would be neat to train for awhile online and then go there and kind of test what I have learned. I hope I'll eventually be able to convince my husband to make a Chicago trip with me or watch the kids for a day so I can go.

    4. I just spoke to my wife Jenny about it, she said that you are welcome to bring your kids as well and she will watch them while you train. When that time comes near, we will plan it out in order for you to get the most out of your time here.

    5. That's really nice of her. It looks like she's really great with kids. I can't imagine having 5 of them that are all so little. I'll probably wait until at least springtime, but I'll let you know if I'm able to plan a trip out there.

    1. I look forward to meeting you sometime. I noticed that Freddie was actually outnumbered by females in some of his newest videos! Hopefully I can plan a road trip soon. It looks like a lot of fun.

  6. Welcome, Todai Lian. I am Todai Kang and I have been training in FMK online too. I am living in New York now. If you lived in New York, we could have trained together but I guess it's not gonna happen. I am still happy that you joined anyway. It's nice to see that somebody from a different state love real martial arts. I am looking forward to see your progress too and everything. Again, I welcome you and have fun training!

    1. Hi Kang. I don't know if you'll read this because I'm kind of late responding. It's nice to see the other online Todais on here though. It would be nice to have someone in the area to train with. I think I'll eventually try to recruit a friend or somebody to work with me.

    2. It would be nice if you could recruit someone to work with you. As you keep training, the more serious you get into the training, the Wooden Dummy is one of the best training tools to have if you do not have sparring partners. But of course it is expensive, it runs at least over $1000 for a high quality one.

    3. A Wooden Dummy probably would be neat to have. If I'm able to find another part-time job, maybe I'll save up for one.

    4. Yes, it's a good idea to recruit a friend to work with. I have a friend in Maryland who definitely would be but I don't know when we can meet up again and train with each other. A wooden dummy is good for me too but I will need to find another job for that and save some more like she said.
Space is another thing that I am worried about now. I doubt that right now.
