Kung Fu Artist - Respect for Elders - RR Fight - Blinded by The Mind

Kung Fu Artist

I've decided that they can take the "Martial Arts" label, they can have it, I'm not fighting for it anymore, all the Fighters and Combat Sport Fighters can have that label. I have decided to express my Art with another label, I don't need their approval or their acknowledgment in anything. Getting the support from people like you is what's important to me. I am not a "Martial Artist" because a "Martial Artist" is essentially seen as a Fighter in the public's eyes, and I am clearly not a Fighter. So my new label for myself is a Kung Fu Artist, I'm not a "Martial Artist", I'm a Kung Fu Artist. Like Bruce Lee's book, "The Artist of Life."

Respect for Elders

Much respect needs to be given to the elders, they have been through more, they have experienced more, they have given life to the young. We live in a culture that disrespects elders and that is a shame. In the Chinese culture it is the opposite, elders are given the greatest amount of respect and the young are taught to be very humble. There is much that America can learn from China in this respect.

RR Fight

I have never been a big fan of Boxing or any combat sport for that manner, I have always been interested in studying the Chinese Martial Arts and the Way of Bruce Lee. But seeing some of these Boxers such as Floyd Mayweather, I am very impressed with his level of skill and development. Recently, I have also seen the records of a lot of other well known Boxers such as Muhammed Ali, Lennox Lewis, Mike Tyson, Manny Pacquiao, Sugar Ray Lenard, etc. And I see that pretty much all of the greatest Boxers have proven themselves over and over again in nearly 50 fights or above. There is even a Boxer named Roberto Duran that has a total of 119 fights logged. Now that shows the skill level of Boxing. Winning 10 fights is nothing, winning 20 is nothing, Boxers have to win about 30 or 40 fights in a row before they become recognized. Compare this to RR 12, that is nothing.

Another thing I wish to mention is this. How many women do you personally know seriously train how to fight? Of all the women I've met in my entire life, I don't even know one personally! That just goes to show you how easy it would be to dominate that field if a woman put all her energies into perfecting the Art of Fighting, basically, if you are a woman, there is no competition, that is the only reason why RR could win 12 in a row, because simply stated, there are not many women in this entire world that even have the interest in becoming world class fighters.

Boxing has been around for a long time, it has an established history, that is why you will find much more talent and skill in that Sport, because it has been around for so long and millions have tried to become the best and only a few have built a name for themselves to become considered one of the greatest, that is why UFC will never be able to compare, they cannot overcome history.

RR is talented in the ground, but she could not even prove to be the best in that field, as far as I know, she did not win the olympics in her specialty. If she cannot even prove to be the best in her very own specialty, how can she possibly prove to be the best in something that is not her specialty, such as stand up fighting?

Boxing and Wrestling are two completely different sports. Mixing them together like what they do in UFC just creates a big disorganized mess, a bunch of rejects from both sports. Stand up fighters don't want to fight on the ground and ground fighters don't want to fight standing up. In a competitive context, people will always learn towards what they are good at. All they are proving is something that is already obvious. A Boxer will lose if you force him to wrestle and a wrestler will lose if you force him to box. A basketball player is not meant to play football. A football player is not meant to play basketball, these sports are separated for a reason.

Never will there ever be a single person that will be considered the Best Boxer of All Time and then at the same time be considered the Best Wrestler of all Time. Both sports need their time to perfect in which to gain great skill and proficiency within that sport. Like trying to be the best Doctor in the world and also the best lawyer in the world. You can't, you don't have the time to do both, you need to choose one or else become mediocre in both.

The biggest hype RR of the UFC gets completely demolished by a humble unknown Boxer, goes to show how fake the UFC really is. RR was even challenging Floyd Mayweather, the Master of Boxing who is a man, and here she gets completely demolished by another woman whom is even older than her.

Blinded by The Mind

If someone who is unconscious is assessing your consciousness, there is no way that he can assess you from the proper perspective because he is unconscious himself, it is like the blind leading the blind. Enlightenment cannot come by the attainment of some degree, but the society has no other way to assess between whom is qualified and whom is not so they inevitably become dependent on these degrees. But $80 is considered cheap over here, normally they charge $300/hr and up where I live, and the insurance pays for most of it, they makes lots of money.

I give them much credit for all the handwork that is required to obtain the degree but all that hard work is only of the mind, none of it is about meditation, and that is where they go wrong. Their minds keep growing stronger and stronger, their Ego's get so strong that it becomes a barrier towards their spiritual growth and the development of wisdom, the result is someone whom is blinded by his own mind and ego whom has a respected degree but yet no inner spiritual transformation within.

A Teacher is Not a Master

I can understand where you are coming from but I see a difference between just teacher and a true Master. A True Master, a student will never surpass, unless the Master dies an untimely death. A true Master Masters himself, and he is living the way, he doesn't speak about the Way, he simply lives it. The student then just follows without being forced to follow. The student can surpass many teachers because anybody can be a teacher but the student can never surpass the Master. It's like trying to catch up in age to your own father, you can't, unless he dies an untimely death. But if he lives a long life till 100, you will never catch up, you might even die before him. He has experienced so much more than you in your life, he already walked the path that you are walking now, he knows the way, you are just trying to learn it.

A true Master never stops growing, he is constantly bettering himself, if he is 50 years old, he has been putting in 50 years of hard work, if you are just 20 years old, you cannot meet his level of expertise and experience, you will always be behind him because he will not stop his own growth even when he is assisting you. If you find a true Master, you will never have to seek any further. If you encounter a teacher or a false Master, you can be searching for endless lives.

How can a student possibly claim he is better than a Master? What is being assessed? An entire person's life is being assessed, not just a small aspect of it. Any student that claims himself to be better than a Master is already at fault. A student who tries to compete with a Master has not truly surrendered to the Master, his ego is still in the way of him learning, he is not truly open to learning, he is not there for the family, he is not there as a disciple to the Master, he is there to take what he can in which to compete with the Master to find his own students. He is like a person who applies to work at a company, gets hired in, and then starts stealing from the company, even though he has the uniform and customers think he is on the side of the company, he is not really there for the company, he is there for himself, he doesn't want to see the company grow, he wants to steal from the company to eventually start his own company. A true Master can identify this fraudulent employee, the true Master can install hidden cameras to identify this fraudulent employee and get rid of him. He does not belong in the company.

A student to a Master is similar to applying to work for a very successful firm. You have the CEO of the company, you as new employee will never be the CEO of the company, even if the CEO dies, only one person is needed to replace him, not any more than that. A student has to agree to surrender to the Master and be a true disciple or he cannot surrender and go about his own path without the help of the Master. He cannot be half hearted, a half hearted student will be identified by the Master and terminated, he will never learn the inner teachings of the school.

A true Master needs no students, the students come to him, they seek him out and they have to beg for the Master to accept them as disciples. A real Master will never beg for students. It's like a father who has more children than he can even handle, he truly wants no more, but then more come begging to convince him to expand his family. A true Master doesn't care to obtain more and more students, he does not obtain students for the fulfillment of his ego, he only accepts students because he is following the Tao or the way of God, if God tells the Master to accept the student he will, he will follow his heart, he follows the order of God, not the order of his ego.

What Grabs Your Attention

What Grabs Your Attention

Imagine going to work as a trainer and you have client who is paying you $10/hr and you have another who is paying you $10,000/hr.  Whom will you give more attention to?  It is quite obvious that the high paying client has paid for your undivided attention.  Money is used as a way to divert our attention towards certain people over others.

Imagine walking down the street and seeing a car that costs $5000 drive by and then moments later you see another car driving by worth $500,000.  Which car will you give more of your attention to?  It is quite obvious that you will give more of your undivided attention towards the vehicle that is $500,000.

Imagine walking down the street and you see an old lady in her 80’s walking by and then moments later you see a young lady in her 20’s walking by that you are very much physically attracted to.  Which lady will you give more of your attention to?  It is quite obvious that you will give more of your undivided attention towards the younger lady.

It is quite obvious that money and beauty grab our attention.  But these are examples of automated responses.  These are examples of very much predictable responses.  These are the common responses from the average man.

Grabbing your attention, is essentially being aware.  Being present, being in the moment.  Not daydreaming, no dwelling in the past, not thinking about the future, but in the moment and aware of the entire experience and your surroundings.  This is Zen.  Zen teaches you to be aware.  Zen teaches you to be aware in every situation.

Zen teaches you to be aware for both paying clients regardless of compensation.  Zen teaches you to be aware to both cars regardless of its monetary value.
Zen teaches you to be aware of both ladies regardless of their physical attractiveness or age.

A master of Zen can bring awareness into any situation without discrimination.  Imagine a baby or an animal and how they are naturally very aware.  The baby knows nothing of money.  Give him $1 or $100 and it makes no difference.  Let the baby sit inside a $10,000 car or a $100,000 car and it will make no difference.  Have an old lady hug the baby or a young lady and it will make no difference.  The baby is naturally in the moment, naturally in Zen.

The baby naturally holds no judgment of better or worse, of good or bad.  Even put a dead body in front of a baby and it will make no difference.  The baby has no fear of death; he naturally knows that death does not exist.  Not too long ago he was still connected to his mother in the womb, not too long ago he was connected to the source.  Not too long ago he didn’t have to worry about going to the washroom, he didn’t have to worry about eating or drinking, he didn’t have to worry about clothing or shelter.  He was just at one with the source, there were no worries, everything was being taken care of without effort on his part.  The baby is naturally like a Master of Zen.

Can we be in Zen in nearly every situation, not just situations of which we are commonly expected to be attentive to?  The more we learn to bring awareness into every situation, the more beautiful life will be, the whole world we will see from a different perspective, we will be more filled with joy and ecstasy everywhere we go.  Every experience will be fulfilling and a joy unto itself.  The ordinary experiences will suddenly become extraordinary.  This is the power of Zen.

Work, Family, and Meditation

Work, Family, and Meditation

I’m all about work, family, and meditation.  If I am not making money, then I am spending time with family.  If I am not spending time with family, I am in meditation.  I do not like to go out to places with many people.  I don’t like to go out to many places at all.  When I work, when I train, it is my getaway, it is my vacation.  Things change when you have many children of your own.  All your free time goes to them and the little time you have left, you have for yourself.

When I am alone, I like to go for a bike ride.
When I am alone, I like to read Osho books.
When I am alone, I like to write.
When I am alone, I like to train.

My life is very simple and basic, some or many may even call it boring.  But to me it is not, everything that I do, I love doing, I don’t really need anyone in my life to feel happy and content.  Actually for 12 years rarely do I ever get a chance to be alone in silence.  Being alone in silence does not come by too often.  When I do find time to be alone in silence, sometimes I use that time as an opportunity express in video format what I have learned about meditation and what I have learned about life.

I know there are not that many people in this world that are like me, that’s why its so hard for people to understand me, but it’s ok.  I feel that I bring an inner experience of being in the mountains out for the general public to get a small glimpse of.

I can sit and do absolutely nothing.
I can read Osho books and do nothing more.
I can stretch and do nothing more.
I can bike and do nothing more.
I can write and do nothing more.
I can exercise and do nothing more.

Those activities are a great joy to me.  I don’t need to go on any vacations or trips. I don’t need to go to the Bahamas.  I don’t need to watch TV.  I don’t need to read newspapers.  I don’t need to watch movies.  I don’t need to spend time with people I barely know.  I find contentment in just being alone. - SFL May 29 2015

Sexual Repression and Madness

Sexual Repression and Madness

The society is sexually repressed, something has gone deeply wrong.  So wrong that we are forced to hide our attraction towards others.  We have become schizophrenic.  On the outside we have to act like we are celibate but on the inside we are highly sexualized.  On the outside we have to appear to be unaffectionate and hard but on the inside we are deeply longing for affection and love.  We are simply split into two.  We see beautiful women on the street and we do not have the courage to approach the women to let them know that we are attracted.  We hide these feelings and we go home in depression.  We have not yet learned to express ourselves truthfully from within.  Our lives are unfulfilled because we have yet to express our true feelings within towards those we are attracted towards.

We can go many years or our whole lives hiding our feelings towards others.  We then become lonely, depressed, and sad.  In private we long for affection and love, in private we turn towards pornography, as an attempt to fulfill this longing for affection and love, but pornography will never be sufficient.  It is like trying to fulfill your hunger and thirst by looking at pictures and videos of food and beverages.  Pictures and videos will never be sufficient enough to fulfill our hunger and thirst.

People who sexually repress themselves for too long can go mad. When you hide your attraction towards women too long, it could then lead towards having attraction towards those of the same sex or even towards having attraction towards little children.  When you deny affection towards women, then your body and mind may start to seek for this affection in people of the same sex, in children, or possibly from animals.  Then this affection can turn sexual, and once it turns sexual, the courts and the law can turn against you and label you as a sexual predator, as a pedophile, as a homosexual.

The society promotes and teaches you to be sexually repressed and then the law punishes you if you do not express this sexuality according to their cultural values. Sexual repression leads people towards doing things that are unnatural.  Rather than expressing your love and affection towards a living, breathing woman, you go home in the privacy of your own home and masturbate to pornographic images.  Rather than feeling comfortable hugging a human being, you feel more comfortable hugging a dog, cat, or teddy bear.  Rather than being attracted towards someone of the opposite of sex, you end up being attracted to someone of the same sex.  Rather than being attracted to someone that is an adult, you end up being attracted towards a child.  Sexual repression leads towards madness. – SFL May 23 2015

“If you look at a flower, people will say, “How aesthetic!”  And if you look at a woman’s beautiful face or a man’s beautiful face, people will say, “This is lust.”  If you go to the tree, and stand there, and look in a dazed state at the flower – your eyes wide open, your senses wide open to allow the beauty of the flower to enter you- people will think you are a poet, or a painter, or a mystic.  But if you go to a woman or a man and just stand there with great reverence and respect, and look at the woman with your eyes wide open and your senses drinking the beauty of the woman, the police will catch hold of you.  Nobody will say that you are a mystic, a poet; nobody will appreciate what you are doing.  Something has gone wrong.” – Osho “The Book of Women” pg. 158

“If you go to a stranger on the street and you say, “What beautiful eyes you have!” you will feel embarrassed, she will feel embarrassed.  She will not be able to say, “Thank you” to you.  In fact, she will feel offended.  She will feel offended, because who are you to interfere in her private life?  Who are you to dare?  If you go and touch the tree, the tree feels happy.  But if you go and touch a woman, she will feel offended.  What has gone wrong?  Something has been damaged tremendously and very deeply.” – Osho “The Book of Women” pg. 158

Freedom for Women

Freedom for Women

“The woman needs total freedom so that she can give freedom to man too.  If you make somebody a slave you will be reduced to slavery ultimately, finally, you can’t remain free.  If you want to remain free, give freedom to others; that’s the only way to be free.” – Osho “the book of women” pg. 25

No man should control a woman, he should allow this woman to be free, by this way he will retain his freedom.  As strangers, they are free, this man has no control over this woman and this woman has no control over this man, they respect each others freedom.  As a friendship develops, this freedom must be maintained, as the friendship develops into intimacy, this freedom must be maintained.

Every passing day, this woman and this man should wake up to freedom.  Freedom to spend his or her time according to their individual desires.  If the woman wishes to spend time with this man, she can do so, if not, she is free to do as she pleases, and the same goes with the man.  There should be no forced meetings.  The man and woman should only spend time with one another when their hearts desire.  There should be no obligations, no expectations.  Meetings should be spontaneous and authentic.

If the woman loves the man, it is real love, if the man loves the woman it is real love, it is not forced.  The woman and man only meet to share positive energy with one another.  If the woman is sad, the man is there to uplift her.  If the man is sad, the woman is there to uplift him.  If they are both sad, they should be alone to let this sadness pass before they meet with one another again.  If they are both in happiness, they can meet to share this happiness.

If the woman wishes to share her time with another man, she has the freedom to do so.  If the man wishes to share his time with another woman, he has the freedom to do so.  A father has no control over his daughter whom has grown to become a mature responsible lady.  A mother has no control over her son whom has grown to become a mature responsible man.  The father and mother give up control over their children once they become adults.  The same freedom shall be practiced amongst lovers.  There cannot be true love without this shared freedom.  If this freedom is taken away, real love disappears, it becomes slavery, it becomes imprisonment. – SFL May 3 2015
