RIP 17 Year Old Indonesian Boxer
I just discovered that a guy died in the boxing ring. It really shocked me
and brought a lot of sadness within me. Rather than suppressing that sadness,
I rather speak about it. That's the only I can control it. Competition fighting is
not the Way; watching people fight and bang on each other is not good either.
We need to go beyond this violence. We need to stop encouraging it. Here is
the video below. Hopefully, it can wake some people up...

Peace...

  3. What struck me, when I watched the footage, was that the fight wasn't really that brutal. I've seen much more violent fights both on the street and in the ring, and yet the boxer died. To me, that goes to show how risky this all is. It just takes one punch, and someone can die. And people don't really think about that. The other thing that struck me was the reaction from the audience. They didn't know what to do, how to respond. Should they celebrate the violence they've just witnessed, even with this outcome? Some were. Should be they concerned? Some were. Most simply seemed stunned. Without the audience, there is no fight. It's the culture of the audience, more than that of the fighter, which needs critique

    1. You are right. The audience is what started all these violence.

  5. Yes it does suck. I really hope no one in his age would die in such circumstances.
