  1. I love Super Smash Bros! Especially the one on Game Cube. It is so much fun. Did you like Ninja Gaiden Sigma?

    1. I'm a big fan of smash melee on cube, it was the best smash in my opinion. I used to play Ninja Gaiden on the nes but i didn't play much with the new ones, i've played a little bit of Ninja Gaiden Black on Xbox. Is Ninja Gaiden Sigma one of your favorite game?

  2. I think my wife may have cried a little when she saw my face light up on this post. It is really impossable for me to list any favorites, I will just stick with the biggest time consumption. I am one of those people I have to get every single secret or "achievment/trophy" you can.
All of the Final Fantasy series including the online.
    All of the Dragon Warriors
    All of the Zelda series
    Mass Effect 1-3
    Dragon Age
Almost all of the Mario games.
Just about all of the Mortal Combat/Killer Instinct/Tekken genre
    Diablo 1-3
Starcraft (1,2 and all exp packs.)
World of Warcraft (even through pandaria as bad as it is. At one point was in the top 1% of over 14,000,000 players this one has the title of the biggest waste of time ever in my life.)
There are many many more.... I have probably wasted more time on video games in my life than anything else put together. Growing up in Alaska where its cold/dark/snow you tend to stay inside a lot and these were a easy way to take up time. I Will say that when a video game has a great story line it is hard to put it down, just like a book. Having 2 kids I want to try and avoid spending too much time playing those and more time taking them outside and teaching them real lessons rather then how to smash buttons to impress their friends.

    1. Yeah, if you want to move on in life you got to put the pad or the mouse down a little bit. Especially if you got kids and you want to reach real goals. But the video game world is so seductive. And our generation grew up and evolve with it's industry. For computer artists to be able to create a world in which you can do the impossible is simply magic. Great list by the way, all classics!

  3. I'm kind of late responding to this one, but I might as well.
Some of my favorite games are the older ones.
    Nintendo:
    Mario Brothers 1, 2, and 3
    Dr. Mario
    Mega Man 3
    Maniac Mansion
    Demon Sword

    Nintendo 64:
    Conker's Bad Fur Day
    1080 Snowboarding
007 (My brothers and I used to play multiplayer on this game all of the time, and whenever we had friends over, we would make them play with us. We'd just keep destroying them until they got good at the game too.)

Some online games can be fun, but they are also a problem for some people. Sometimes people get bored or unhappy with life so they live vicariously through a video game. It gives them a false sense of accomplishment in life and can be very addicting.
I don't play many games lately. I just have some games on my phone that I can play with my daughter. I do sometimes miss some of the old video games though.

I also used to play quite a few arcade games. My mom used to work at a laundry mat. I actually had beat some of the Mortal Combat games on arcade with my brother.
