Training With Family

I've been working on training with my husband on days when he is feeling up to it.  It has been hard for us to find the time to work together on it.  I think that we will work on coming up with a better routine.  Here's our awesome video.  We were just randomly coming up with things to work on.

  1. A study in trying very hard, but not succeeding, in deflecting distraction. This was good entertainment, as always. Your daughter, about half way through, so precious, "I'm pretty good." She's dying to get in there. Loved seeing the interactions between Fai and your boy over the book-eating dilemma. First I've really noticed the purposefully mischievous character of Tubs. Lian, your form is so deep, looking good. Fai, your form is in need of serious work, haha! Watch those videos I emailed. Buy that Tub a door-frame jumper and strap him in so you can get serious about your workout while he gets his exercise in too

    1. Oh serious work is an understatement lol, I was trying to get my wife to help me out some, but apparently I must learn backwards. I have been trying to make time to get back into the swing of things. Work has been driving me up the wall lately with all the next generation trucks we are trying to get put together. Having to explain simple things like lefty loosy and righty tighty to a group of 70 engineers really makes me want to burry my head in the sand and hide until they are gone. I have been trying to get out of the area so that I am not dealing with the set up they are trying to push me into. I will really be putting an a effort on the basic stances this weekend, hopefully I will be showing some progress.

    2. The kids always do want to be a part of everything. I wonder what the weight limit on those door-frame jumpers is. My daughter had one, but he's a lot bigger than she was.
I probably should find better ways to distract them, but normally I just try to work through the chaos. Especially when I work a lot, I feel bad for ignoring them, so I try to make it up, and let them stay close when I'm training.

    1. Thanks Jenny! I need practice on being a trainer. He's stubborn, and I kept trying to teach him things backwards. It was fun though.
