Proper Fucking English

Those who are racist will poke fun of the minority who does not speak “proper English.”  It gives them a feeling of superiority over the minority.  The minority may be gifted genetically, the minority may be a hard worker, the minority may be a gifted athlete, the minority may be a great scholar, the minority may be great in cooking, the minority may have many great talents.  But the racist gives no attention to any of these talents; the racist is primarily focused on criticizing the minority’s expression of the English language. 

Because the racist has no other talents that outshine the minority, he needs to hold onto something in order to give himself reason to feel superior.  He knows that if he uses his skin color as reason to feel superior, it will not be allowed by society, so he will latch onto using the English language.  Now he considers himself superior over the minority because he speaks proper English and the minority does not.  

In hardcore hip-hop music, there is a lot of profanity that is not allowed in the society and is considered bad and improper.  The use of profanity and slang is a way of rebelling against the racists.  Minorities are indicating through the use of profanity and slang that there is no such thing as improper English, there is only communication, the racist is not better than anyone just because he speaks more “properly” than the minority.  The Americans are not better than the Chinese because they speak English and the Chinese speak Cantonese.  No one language is better than another; there are only different ways of expressing the nature of reality.
