Techniques Demo

This has been going on in my mind a lot. I always had the idea of making a video about how I perform the techniques. Well here it is. These are the techniques I have learned so far. Shi Zu did not want me to make an instructional video on how to fight. Honestly, I am not interested in doing that either. If I want to teach someone, I better know who I am teaching; otherwise, he or she might get out of my sight! Anyway, feel free to give feedback if you like.

  1. Pretty good for "home schooled"! ;D
I like your use of the street sign for toughening exercises.

    1. Lol. Thanks. After the forearm toughening, I had some bruises on my right forearm. I guess it means I still need to work on it more otherwise when the time comes to really block someone's strike, I may hurt myself even more. Of course I will let the bruises heal first before I start doing it again.

  2. I think your techniques look very good, home schooled or not, lol. Here's the things I especially noticed... With the CLF form, on your second cross-stance, make sure to retain the strike with your hand, rather than just holding it out there shoot it up like you did on the first cross-stance; With those downward strikes toward the end of the CLF form, the hand should life higher before shooting down; Otherwise your CLF looks awesome, way more relaxed and smooth than my own; You are rocking that red shirt, cool; Your front kick to hook kick transition is very nice, really good hip flexibility and turning, I'm impressed; Keep working on that reverse-hook; Overall looking good, you should post your practices more often; I'll make sure to get this up on the YouTube Channel

    1. Thank you for the feedback Ryan. I have to admit too that my reverse-hook could have been better. It is not my strongest kick. One of the reasons why is probably because I need a flexible groin. Also, this kick needs more practice. I notice the flaws on the CLF form too. Thanks your feedback has really helped.
