FMK Home Videos

I was practicing with some of the newer FMK videos.
I know my kick holds were pretty bad.  I was kind of worried that my kid would knock me over, so I know that they're not very professionally done.  I'll have to work on staying better focused even with close distractions around me.  And in the other video, I improvised a lot because I wanted to try the new weight workout instead of doing the other thing.
I thought that these were pretty fun though.  Thanks for the inspiration, guys!
I should also have another CLF video soon.  I've been working on it.

  1. You did great. I think your kick holds were pretty good. The only thing is that your left supporting foot was not pivoted at 45 degrees away. Other than than that, you worked really hard and you seem to be dedicated. You are getting involved in the blog and you are actually showing your progress unlike me! I can hold the kicks but not as long nor as high as you can. Your legs are way stronger than mine. Good job on the shoulder workout. Strengthening your shoulders is very important.

    1. Thanks. I didn't know about the 45 degee angle thing. I'll have to start paying attention to that.
I think you still make more posts on here than I do, just not progress videos. How are you doing on the TKD form? I think that's what you're on now isn't it?

    2. I am almost done with the CLF form I think. I learn that 45 degree angle thing from Taekwondo. I used to take Taekwondo classes before joining FMK so that's how I know about it. I am not at the TKD form yet but soon I will be. How are you doing with the CLF so far?

    3. The Taekwondo lessons probably makes this easier for you to learn. I haven't had any official Martial Arts training before.
I'm only a little further in CLF than I was in the last video. I'll make another video soon. It just takes a lot of repitition before I feel like I'm getting it right.

    1. You are doing great yourself. I think you are helping FMK a lot. You are training other people which is great. It's beneficial for you and the kwoon. Awesome!

    1. I can do that more since I have a tripod. It makes it a lot easier. I think the training routines they do are normally fun anyway.
My daughter loves it. She actually pesters me to exercise with her sometimes.
