The Flow and FMK

I really enjoy a lot of the discussions here on the blog.  Recently, there have been a few times where being in the flow of life has come up.  I really like this subject, and I think it is very important for us to be able to move with life and adapt to different situations, and to also try to be content whether things are chaotic or monotonous.
As a teenager, I used to focus a lot on being in the flow.  As an adult with kids and a job, it's a lot more difficult.  It can be easy to get caught up in the daily grind of life and just push through each day without taking time to breathe and enjoy the good things in life.

With my training, I have had to shorten my practice and workouts this last week because of an extra workflow.  I seem to get extra work around the holidays, probably because so many people take the time off.  I'm okay with that though.
I have also noticed lately that when I workout, if I don't feel it in my muscles for the rest of the day, I don't feel like I did enough.  I probably shouldn't always base my satisfaction on that though, because I think my muscles heal a lot faster since I have been working out more.
I also got my next CLF videos, so Kang, you'd better be working on it so you can finish the CLF form with me!  I'm going to be working on it.

  1. Life is so unpredictable. You can fall tomorrow without notice, it ain't always easy to hold on when things get dramatic. But it helps being surrounded with good people. In the lowest part of my life, the fact that i had people around me helped me a lot, of course i had those solitude moment but here and there people was coming to see me, and that did help a lot. Have a nice day!

  2. I can understand how difficult it is to keep in good shape while being a parent. My parents have the same problem. They seem to be caught up in working so hard to support me and my brothers and themselves that they cannot find the time to workout. But you seem to adapt yourself to that situation and that's great. I am glad that you got into the next part of the CLF. Don't worry I will be finishing it with you, mom! Haha.

    1. I kind of see exercising as a part of basic care, like eating, showering, and brushing teeth. So I keep it as a high priority thing. If I don't think I have the time, I try for at least a 10 minute workout. I'm not going to give up!
Alright, that's good you will be finishing the CLF with me. I'm not quite caught up to you yet, but I'm trying to make sure I start going through it at least once a day so I can do a lot more smoothly.

    2. Yep. Take as much time as you can to perfect it. Do not make the same mistake of rushing through it. It's never worth rushing through anything.

    3. I was not talking about you rushing into it. I was talking about previous online Todais in the past who think they can just go to all the lessons and understand everything. You did not make that mistake! Haha. Sorry.

  3. I know what you're talking about with not rushing through it. I do want to make sure I get each part done correctly before I move on the next. I guess a steady progression is what's best. I was starting to feel like I was being a bit too lazy with it, and that it was time to move on. I've smoothed out the part that I know now, and I'm going to watch the next video once I get a chance to.

    1. Good. I have some great news for you and myself. I finally got a tripod that works! The last one I bought stretched up to 72 inches but the new one can stretch up to 61 inches. At least the camcorder can stay on the plate! You probably will see me on a video tomorrow. How does it sound? :D
