Low Standards of Society

Me and my friend were talking but the name Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson came up, and I said: "Dwayne Johnson is the worst thing that happened to Hollywood." and I laughed. But my friend responded: "What are you talking about? He is an amazing actor! You are just jealous because he is brolick and you are not! You are just a hater" He was telling that as a joke of course. While he was saying these things, in my mind I was thinking: "When we are talking about amazing actors, we are talking about Denzel Washington, Sydney Poitier, Robert DeNiro, Al Pacino, Leonardo Di Caprio, Sean Penn. These are amazing actors! Dwayne Johnson is not even an actor comparing to them. In fact, I do not even consider him to be an actor. The movies he usually played are action movies. In action movies, acting is not even that big of a deal." In conclusion, my point is society standards are becoming lower and lower every year. It used to be Malcom X and Martin Luther King Jr, now it is Obama. It used to be Bruce Lee, now people look up to the Disgracies. It used to be Tupac, now it is JayZ... I know people have different of opinions, but when the majority have such low standards like that, it needs to be questioned. I am not saying that I hate Dwayne Johnson. I just do not admire people like him as an actor or entertainer. I just find idiotic to even call me a hater just because I am telling it like it is. But you know what, society's brain is going to get dumber than ever. There is nothing I can do about it. All I can do is keep my standards high so that I do not fall in society's trap. I choose to associate myself with Sifu Freddie Lee because he is the realest Martial Artist that I ever encounter. If the world need something, it would be another Martial Artist because the Martial Artist's standards go beyond what we see as good, great and excellent.
