I am not trying to defend what she does but it shows sexually repressed America is. She did not rape any students, but she just had sex with them and she has rape charges. How is that a 16 year old rape? A 16 year old is not old enough to make his own decision? A 16 year old boy does not know that if he does it with the teacher that can also get the teacher in trouble? She did not deserve to go to jail for life just because of sexual intercourse with students. If she does deserve prison, I think it is fair the students get imprisoned themselves too. Maybe the teacher was irresponsible with her sexual desires but the students were too and they deserve as much punishment as the teacher. Here is also my problem with this whole situation. It is okay to go in the boxing ring or cage to beat up people and possibly kill them but when the teacher had sex with the students it is condemned by the law. Good shit America. That is why you will always be my favorite country... Some people are probably calling her a slut right now but I am not condemning her. She is wrong but her punishment needs to be less severe. I do not respect the high school student who did this. In my opinion, she is pretty good looking. Why could you not keep your mouth shut? You are probably not going to have a girlfriend anytime soon, and you are probably not going to have friends either. I hope you will be lonely as hell. If I saw you, I would probably spit on your face.

I agree with you, a lot of the laws in America are really messed up. When it comes to sexuality, you have to be very careful how you express your desires. If you break the law, it can really ruin your life if you get caught. But it is considered legal for a 90 year old to have sex with an 18 year old. But it is illegal for an 18 year old to have sex with a 17 year old. Actually it is illegal to even have sex before marriage no matter what age you are, it is called fornication. There are so many ridiculous laws that are outdated, the courts decide what they want to enforce and what they don't. As long as you don't get caught, you're good, but once you get caught, you're going to go through a living nightmare. I feel bad for the teacher to have to go through this.
