My left side needs work my balance is not so good and i can only hold this around 6 seconds my right is around 15sec ive seen people do 1 or more minutes i hope to achieve that someday.

That's the problem with working kicks, it's easy to create an imbalance because you have to train one at a time. Pull ups, pushups, running, squats, naturally work the muscles in a more balanced way.
When i kick with my left it feels way different im still trying to figure it out.
Exactly! I am trying to figure out why. I feel like something in my left hip is trying to stop me from kicking higher.
