I recently moved to north Carolina been living here roughly 3months, and had to get a new job. I just started making new friends, and today they asked me what was my hobbies . I told them martial arts, and the first thing they thought of was fighting, and the ufc. Which made me mad, so I told them martial arts is a whole lot more than fighting. Its about building character, and being humble and respectful ect. To me martial arts was never about fighting its people that make it that way. Its their ego getting in the way trying to prove themselves. Just goes to show you the negative impact ufc plays in today's society. You got to be blind to not see it. Kids fighting in the streets grounding and pounding using ufc gear. People cheering them on while recording. Teens wearing these tap-out shirts it just pissing me off so bad. Ufc fighters are not martial artist they need to create there own label based on their experience in fighting. Grr, sorry just had to blow off some steam.
