MMA is the Realest! Really?

I am not writing this badmouth my friends, my brothers or anyone. But the fact that people are saying that MMA is the only thing that deals with the reality of combative situations and telling me that some techniques can break people's arm pisses me off so much. First of all, why is that when you are training in the Martial Art all you want to think about doing is to beat up somebody? I think the reason why you want to learn devastating techniques is not because you want to defend yourself; you want power. Power is everything isn't it? Second of all, why the word Mixed attached to Martial Arts? How can you mix Martial Arts? It's a retarded title right there. Instead of learning a style, why don't you learn from individuals instead? Stop being so caught up in styles and see the individual instead. In FMK, we are promoting intelligence not retardation! Third of all, the fact that everybody wants to do it makes me want to stay away from it. Jesus said himself that most people would choose the broad way but few will choose the narrow way. The 'narrow way' is the way of intelligence, wisdom, and judgement. It is something that goes beyond the majority. In the Martial Art, the narrow is considered to be a group of people that are physically fit, mentally stable and spiritually aware. You do not see that in MMA. All you see is a bunch of people bashing each others face and once they win, they want to jump in joy. You beat someone up until you almost kill him and you are happy? (sigh) I hate to break it to you but that is mental illness. You do not cause harm to someone and be happy about it: that is not the work of someone who is sane! Oh you want to practice MMA for self-defense, well go ahead but before you go to that you notice how these MMA fighters behave right? Once you go to an MMA school, there is a high risk that you are going to become like them, if not 100%. You want to be as aggressive as you can, go ahead. After you get behind bars from using 'MMA', you will know how much you hate me say: "I told you so."

  1. True, especially what you said about the narrow way. The majority is blind, they don't see the narrow way. They only see what they think they see which is illusory (or the broad way). The media is what made the people see the illusory. Whatever the media express is what the people believe, and the things that are expressed is fake (well most things I guess). The real stuff is rare and hidden and it is not advertise which is why the majority don't know. In order to see the truth they have to seek it themselves as Bruce Lee said "Independent inquiry is needed in your search for truth, not dependence on anyone else's view or a mere book." Not many people realize that.

  2. FMK is promoting intelligence? What intelligence? The narrow way? Are you just making stuff up Kang? That's why you failed your class Kang for your lack of intelligence. Your master Freddie is just a mentally unstable Bruce Lee wannabe egoist.

  3. You're just insulting him personally, anon, you never really made an attempt to disprove his point. If he has more to learn, then so be it. Your vitriolic words are not welcome here.

    1. Thank you Ryan. I understand now what Freddie has to go through when he is making his videos. There is always people on him insulting him, calling him names. I do not know how this anonymous guy gets to the blog but yeah he needs to get out.

  4. Your post is extremely hilarious, educational, and real at the same time. You gotta get on this blog more and start expressing yourself in writing more, I see it is bringing out a unique & creative side of you. Fuck MMA! Yes it feels good to not be censored like I am on YouTube.

  5. I really enjoy your videos Freddie, I once took an MMA class and didn't like what I saw, people were attacking punching bags on the ground repeatedly kicking and punching them with what appeared to be no mercy involved, I know it was just a bag but that was a person they were pretending it to be, and also why do these people feel it necessary to go to the ground and do fancy stuff, If I was ever in a street fight and someone knocked me down, my first instinct wouldnt be to armbar or choke the guy, it would be to get the guy off me and get the hell off the ground, thats whats real. Also I saw one of your videos that had the title Bruce Lee ain't shit, was it a joke video or were you being serious? I didn't end up watching it.

  6. Hi Kang, I enjoyed reading your post it was very insightful to see how some people see the MMA community. I am a traditionalist who practises Wing Chun and Lau Gar both southern kung fu systems, designed for self defence. The term "self defence" being pivotal to describe the difference between the development in kung fu and MMA. Kung fu used in combat is designed to help protect yourself from an unwanted attack where there is no agreement to fight. In this scenario the violence can be controlled as, as a defender I can try to subdue the attacker wih minimum aggression, where in MMA both people involved are ready to beat the holy hell out of each other and common sense doesnt prevail and morality goes out the window. There is no human decency, only ego.
